After the successful launch of jugendFREI in 2009, the range of this Festwochen culture communication programme will be expanded in 2010. Workshops on selected drama, dance and music productions for young people aged 16 and over will constitute the mainstay of the programme. Some workshops will be exclusively organised for entire forms, while others are open to all young people. The participants will work with members of international ensembles as well as drama teachers; following the workshops, they will attend performances or dress rehearsals. In co-operation with the festival sponsor Donauzentrum, additional creative workshops on costume design and choreography will be held. The range of events will be complemented by projects jointly planned with our partner school Parhamergymnasium as well as by a wide range of information options for teachers comprising, on request, programme presentations, information material, introductions to dramatic works and post-performance talks with dramaturgs.

The workshops will be conducted with the participation of Raphael Eröd (opera), Katharina Kolar and Frank Röpke (drama/opera).

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The registration deadline for workshops is 31 March 2010. The number of workshop places is limited; registration requests are ranked in order of arrival.
